Last of the Living (2008) DvDrip.TFX
This 2008 movie from New Zealand has a similar storyline to the excellent 2009 movie “Zombieland”. While not as good or as funny as “Zombieleand” (which I really enjoyed), this movie is still amusing enough – and it gives a nice New Zealand point of view to the zombie apocalypse scenario. The camera work is good and the dialog is witty and the music is cool. Although it is not a gore fest, there are some well done zombie executions and fight scenes.
The movie starts off 6 months after the "apocolypse" and most the world is overrun with zombies. The film quickly switches to 3 guys kicking back in a mansion. As far as they know they're the only survivors around and have been spending their time traveling from mansion to mansion, drinking beer and playing video games. It actually seems like a lot of fun. While out perusing the town for a new pad they run across an attractive young lady who has a solution to the zombie issue. That's where the movie takes on it's main plot, so I won't spoil it.
